Add "join talk" button in email invites

I would like to submit a feature request regarding the registration confirmation emails sent to attendees. Currently, when using an external meeting link (e.g., Microsoft Teams) in the “External URL” or “Broadcast URL” field, the link is not prominently displayed as a clear call-to-action in the automated emails sent after registration. We would like to request the addition of a “Join Session” button in these emails that would: - Automatically use the External/Broadcast URL defined in the talk settings - Be clearly visible and accessible for participants - Appear in all relevant attendee emails (confirmation, reminders, etc.) This would significantly improve the user experience by: - Reducing confusion for participants trying to find the access link - Minimizing support requests - Aligning with standard practices for virtual events and paid training sessions Ideally, this feature could: - Be enabled by default when an external link is present - Or be configurable in the email settings Thank you for considering this improvement—it would make a big difference for teams using HeySummit to deliver live sessions via external platforms like Microsoft Teams.

Hi Sophie, thanks for clarifying! This is now live: new session calendar invitations, downloads and Google Calendar entries include the external meeting link when “Direct join links in reminders and session calendars?” is enabled under Live & Replay Experience. Hi Sophie, thanks for the suggestion. Our session reminder emails already include a direct button to join an externally hosted session when "External Join Links in Reminders?" is enabled. Those reminders go out 1 hour and/or 20 minutes before the session starts, depending on which emails you have turned on. Were you looking for that same button in other emails too, such as the registration confirmation, session schedule confirmation or daily digest? Those emails can arrive well before the session is due to go live, so we'd like to double-check exactly which emails you want to include it in. An example of the email you mean would help us understand.

Hi Benjamin, Thanks for your reply! When attendees register for a session, they receive a calendar invitation that they can accept to add the event to their calendar. Ideally, we would like the **“Join Session” link to be included directly in that calendar invitation**, so attendees can easily access the Microsoft Teams meeting from their calendar. We regularly receive emails from participants asking for the meeting link, even though they have already received the reminder emails. Having the link directly in their calendar invitation would help reduce confusion and support requests. Thanks again for considering this!
