Assign tickets to Sponsors and Speakers

Currently we can send login details to Speakers, but we cannot assign one or more tickets to them without manually adding them to the attendee list. This seems a bit cumbersome. It would make sense to me to have a “Manage Tickets” option for Sponsors and Speakers. What do you think? I believe this would tie in well with the hidden ticket type suggested before.

Hi Henk, we should already have that feature. If you head to Setup > Speaker Settings, there’s a field there titled “Auto Create Attendee Record?“ which is designed to let you auto assign a specific ticket to a speaker. I’ll mark this ticket as closed for now but if you feel this doesnt meet what you were talking about let me know.

Hi Ben, the current solution doesn’t meet what we need. First off, it seems to only works for Speakers, not for Sponsors. At our current event, we have a Sponsor who is not a Speaker and I would like to assign an in-person ticket to them. but, more importantly, most of our meetings are hybrid. This means some Speakers and/or Sponsors will join online while others join in-person at the venue. I need to assign different ticket types to Main Sponsors, Page Sponsors, in-person Speakers and remote Speakers. The ideal solution would be to have a “Manage tickets” option for Speakers and Sponsors just as we have for Attendees.
