Hey Andrew, There are a couple of things we could potentially do here: 1. Add a comments area further down the page, just like we do on a talk broadcast page. 2. Bring in a chat component like we do when a talk is being broadcast (i.e., the part that shows to the right of the broadcast video). These are two distinct things: one is literally a comment facility that is not really designed to be real-time, whereas the chat facility is a real-time facility. Also, bear in mind that with the new event lobby, you can create your own channels or rooms, so you could create a room for an individual venue if you wanted to. Would that alone give you everything you'd need, or do you still like the idea of having the chat actually visible on a venue page (either in chat or comment form)? Can you let me know which, if any, of these scenarios would be best for you? And then I can think about how I might go about integrating it. Many thanks.
I think the simple comment box for now would be great later down the page. We will have several venue pages to highlight past venues used, host the image gallery from the event or events held at the venue. Therefore people being able to leave comments would be a nice to have. The new lobby should be fine for real time chat as you suggested. On that note being able to link to channels/topic in the lobby from different pages on the site would be great down the road.
